The Xbox 360 gaming console has sold over 25 million units all over the world as of today. In Japan, it has sold about 4 million units and in the United States almost 5 million units according to a recent study conducted by Microsoft, its maker. This Xbox 360 combines numerous entertainment functions such as console gaming, online gaming, web browsing and video watching. As such, it is like owning numerous kinds of technological gadgets all contained in one compact and powerful Xbox 360 unit.

Now, people can watch Xbox 360 Videos right in their very own Xbox 360 without having to use a desktop or laptop computer or even a DVD player. The Xbox 360 functions as a video player, with the same high definition functions and smooth playing capabilities like any other video player available in the market as of today. As such, Xbox 360 owners can watch those Xbox 360 Videos in their very own Xbox 360. All they need is the video file that can be viewed through the numerous USB outlets of the console itself or through downloading by using the Xbox 360’s browsing capabilities.

Truly, watching videos and movies has never been this easier. These Xbox 360 Videos that are sure to provide the much needed fun and entertainment can now be viewed anytime at one’s own Xbox 360. Not only will you save money on the Xbox 360, but you also save space since the Xbox 360 console is small in size like those laptops or DVD players, but instead of owning each individually, everything comes in the Xbox 360. As such, there is no longer a need to own the others.

“Anyone making a game, if you’re going to make it for both, just lead on the PS3 because if it works on the PS3, it’ll work on 360,” he said. A slew of well-known developers have spoken out against Sony’s high-power console.

Valve’s Gabe Newell said in 2007–long before Sony’s decline started–that the PlayStation 3 is a “waste of everyone’s time.” A report in the Dr. Dobb’s Journal tested the development process of the PlayStation 3 and found that Sony’s console is “difficult to program for.” I looked for some Sony supporters and found the best source of them all: Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment. Huh? Developers are looking at the installed bases of consoles. Developers want to make their games as appealing as possible to those extra 8 million people. So spending extra time (a luxury most developers don’t have) on PS3 development just plain doesn’t make sense.

I don’t think developers are taking the Sony bait and working harder at harnessing the power of Sony’s console. I’m all for powerful consoles and getting the most out of gaming machines, but I don’t understand Sony’s strategy. Third-party developers are key to a successful gaming generation, and Sony makes it hard on them. And in Hirai’s own words, people (ostensibly, developers) are seeing “negatives in it.”
